Spring! I think..

Spring is here! Man that feels weird saying that since we didn't really have a winter. These are a few photos out and about that I've taken in the last week or so. I can't thank God enough for the gift of sight. Spring can be filled with so many colors and to be able to see what He has created is truly a blessing on its own!

If you haven't signed up for the Walk for Water yet, now is the time! Water Missions International puts it on every year. All the proceeds are non-profit and go straight into building clean water systems for places all around the world. The village in Africa we were serving had one of the water systems and they are truly amazing! Please sign up today. Go to www.watermissions.org/walk

Birthday Shoot

I recently shot my first surprise birthday party for a 6 and 8 yr. old. It was very interesting. It took a few minutes to get an understanding of how I wanted to shoot. The 8 year didn't ask for presents this year. Instead, she asked simply for people to donate shoes for an organization in Guatemala. She's 8! It was truly encouraging to see such a young person with a heart to serve others. Here are a few of the photos I took:

His Majesty

I read a devotional yesterday morning that started out by asking a question: "When was the last time something took your breath away because of its majesty?" I started thinking of sunsets. To me, when I see a beautiful sunset, I'm a deer caught in the headlights. Especially when I have a camera in my hand. God really uses His Majesty in things here on earth that catches our eyes in amazement. By looking around us and examining some of God's creations, we can start to see how detailed things can really get. Whether it being a butterfly or a cloud. He is our Creator and we are His creation, and "all creation is an outstretched finger pointing toward God." Stop sometime and see how nature really reflects God's glory. You will be amazed!

Here are some photos over the past few weeks that to me, really reflect God's image:
